BOS Wine Dinner

Varanese is excited to be hosting a BOS Wine Dinner on Tuesday, July 18 with a reception at 6:30pm and dinner at 7:00pm.

The event will feature guest speaker David Bos from BOS Wine, and five creative courses expertly paired with wine selections.

The cost is $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (502) 899-9904 or emailing A $25 per seat fee will be charged for reservations canceled within 24 hours of the event.

The menu was created by the Varanese team led by Chef Erik Abraham and will consist of:

First Course

Ode to Fume, Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley Ahi Tuna Sashimi with Uni, Wasabi Peas, Wakame Seaweed Salad and Fermented Soy Bean Vinaigrette

Second Course

Moon Bos, Harvest Red Blend Slow Braised Pork Belly with Arugula and Red Streak Mustard Greens Topped with Drunken Goat Cheese, Spicy Candied Walnuts and Tossed in a Tart Cherry Vinaigrette

Third Course

2014 Bos, Phoenix Ranch House-Made Pasta tossed with Wild Mushrooms and Snow Pea Tendrils Topped with Shaved Black Truffles and Aged Parmesan Cheese

Fourth Course

Deo, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Angus Beef Duo: Seared Prime Strip Steak with Sun Choke Puree and Herb Compound Butter Filet Mignon Steak Tartar with Fried Quail Egg and Toast Points

Fifth Course

Moon Bos, Rose Strawberry Mille-Feuille with Peanut Butter Nugget, Strawberry Jam, Peanuts and Caramel in a Dark Chocolate Coating
