LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The recently announced River House restaurant on River Road will make room for a second concept.
Levee at the River House is expected to open shortly after River House in Feb. 2016. The layout will include an indoor and outdoor bar, with seating for about 130 people inside, and 100 outside.
Levee will share kitchen space with River House, but will offer a completely different menu featuring small plates like steak sliders, crab and green chili, fried ravioli, and tuna ceviche.
The owner’s long-term plan is to utilize all 27,000 square feet of the facility.
He’s also the executive chef and owner of Varanese on Frankfort Avenue.
